Indian stock markets nosedives on GDP forecast cut

Indian stock markets witnessed heavy selling today as investors become bearish after GDP growth forecast was cut by investment banks. National Stock Exchange broader index Nifty closed in red by 62.90 points at 5,851.20. The 30 component benchmark index SENSEX closed down by 202 points at 19362.55 pts, thus closing at week's low today.

It turned out to be another bad day for indian stock markets and investors as weak global economic sentiments forced Investors to stop purchasing stocks rather selling it thus moving the stock markets in red.

Blood bath at BSE dives by 2 percent in day

It was a bad day for Indian stock markets as weak global cues from US and European stock markets instigated a selling spree as investors became bearish after Federal Reserves MoM were out yesterday.

The 30 component BSE's SENSEX index closed lower by 317 points to close at 19,325.36, while broader index NSE's NIFTY followed by falling well over 1.5 percent in a single trading day. Thus NIFTY went under the 5900 levels. Todays fall in indian stock indices reduces the market cap of listed companies by a whopping Rs 1.12 lakh crore.

Strong global cues pushes Indian stock markets up

It was a good day for indian stock markets as major stock indices including BSE's SENSEX and NSE's NIFTY closed higher today as strong global cues boosted Indian investor confidence. This rally makes three day consuctive upward momentum for Indian stock markets.
