Lackluster day - SENSEX | NIFTY closes in red

Benchmark indian Stock indices including Bombay Stock Exchange's SENSEX and National Stock Exchange's NIFTY closed lower today as stock markets saw a lackluster trading day today. 12 out of 30 BSE SENSEX components closed in green. The most watched index SENSEX shed 56.72 points to close at 15,882.64 today.

SENSEX | NIFTY skyrockets by over 2.5 percent

Looks like investors are breathing in air which smells like RBI lending rate cuts...pure speculation currently.

Almost all the regional stock markets and Sectoral indices also remained in green today EOD. BSE SENSEX closed up by 421.44 points, to 15,939.36. 28 out of 30 components remained colored in green while two of them M&M and HeroMotoCo closed in red today. NSE's broader index NIFTY closed up by 128.55 points.

Benchmark Indian Stock markets including Bombay Stock Exchange's SENSEX and National Stock Exchange's NIFTY closed lower today as investors booked profits and ended a choppy trading session today.

The Sensex closed at 15727.85, down 146.10 points. The 30-share index touched daytrade low of 15666.46 today.

The National Stock Exchange's Nifty ended at 4705.80, down 44.70 points. The broader index touched a high of 4756.20 during daytrade today.
