Indian Stock Markets decline on volatile trading

(11/3/2015 StockInvestingTips bureau) - Benchmark Indian stock indices including the Bombay Stock Exchange's SENSEX and National Stock Exchange's NIFTY declined for third straight session as investors remained clueless amid rising volatility on stock floor.


Broader index NIFTY closed just shy of 8700 today, down by 12.10 points. Whereas blue chip index SENSEX 30 saw a decline of 50.70 points at 28659.17 points. Oil and Gas sector stocks, Metals, capital goods sector stocks declined the most today. A lot of buzz was seen today around stock price of Hindalco after it's promoter KM Birla got summon from court regarding Coal scam case. Meanwhile former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also got summon from court in the same case.

INR remained weak against the dollar and is hovering at 62.75 per USD level currently. Bombay Stock Exchange's Midcap index as well as Small-cap index also saw decline today. Midcap index ended the day after declining by nearly half a percent while Small cap performed marginally better and fell by 0.32 percent today.
