Pre-budget speculation pushes SENSEX up

As the budget session approaches near , speculators are betting on selected stocks particularly stocks from Realty and Capital goods sector. These sectors saw heavy purchasing today as investors looks bullish on these two sectors ahead of budget.

30 component BSE's SENSEX closed up by 32.93 points at 19,501.08 while broader index National Stock Exchange's NIFTY closed higher by 10.80 points at 5,898.20 . Majority of the sectors closed slightly higher but Realty closed up by over 2 percent today.
