BSE's SENSEX closed lower by 60.68 points at 29122 pts. National Stock Exchange's NIFTY 50 also declined by 11.50 points to close at 8797.40 pts. SENSEX saw 17 of it's components closing in red today and only 13 of them closing with gains. Market breadth was negative at BSe and NSE today.
Sector wise BSE's FMCG index led the list of losers as it fell the most by 1.77 percent. It was followed by oil and gas, metal index and healthcare index. While Banking index, capital goods, IT, auto index closed in green today. FPI's sold stocks worth 600 crores last week.
