The 30 component BSE's SENSEX index ended the day up by 88 points at 18,629.15, whereas broader index NSE's NIFTY ended higher by 18.85 points at 5,609.10 . 16 out of 30 components of BSE's SENSEX closed in green while 14 declined. Major Asian stock markets got boosted after key European stock indices opened higher today.
