Major Indian stock indices opened lower and are trading in red currently as weak global sentiments and profit booking pulled Indian stock markets down.
The 30 component Bombay Stock Exchange's SENSEX is currently down by -84.14 points at 19484.08 pts, whereas NSE's broader index NIFTY is see-sawing at 5900 mark and is down by 23.70 pts at 5900.15. Other bad news coming is INR reaching lowest level at 56.97/USD today.
Almost all of the sectoral indices of BSE are in red and BSE Midcap Index is down by 0.28 percent and however the BSE Smallcap Index gained 0.08 percent.
