Forward Markets Commission provides new guidelines

(FMC) has changed guideline that has limited the stake of any single stock exchange in a national-level commodity bourse to a maximum of 5 per cent and has asked bourses to comply by December 31, 2010.

On it's official website it has clearly stated that 'The shareholding of any single Stock Exchange along with the persons acting in concert shall not be more than 5 percent of the subscribed and paid up equity capital of the said National Commodity Exchange.'
