Major Indian stock indices including Bombay Stock Exchange's SENSEX
and National Stock Exchange's NIFTY closed flat as investors remained cautious about dwindling Indian economy, falling industrial output and falling INR value. Thus not much buying was seen as investors move to gold as a better option for investing.
BSE's SENSEX index ended at 19345.70 down by 2.64 points. Whereas broader index NSE's NIFTY ended the day down by 13.05 points at 5,742 today. Futures doenot look good too as Finance minister remains clueless about what is happening currently as all the measures for curtailing INR fall wrto USD has failed and prevented FII's to invest in disinvested share in PSU's.
