Weak manufacturing data pulls SENSEX | NIFTY down

Indian stock markets witnessed heavy selling from investors today as weak Indian manufacturing data and uncertain global economic cues brought in the bearish sentiments at dalal street.

The 30 component most watched BSE's SENSEX ended the day down by 150 points today at , The broader index NSE's NIFTY closed at 5939.30 points down by 46.65 points. Only good news came from Infosys scrip which closed up by 4.4 percent after NR NarayanMurthy stepped in shoes of KV Kamath(who took just 2 years in bringing Infosys stock in doldrums).
