Major Indian stock indices including the 30 component BSE's SENSEX index and National Stock Exchange's NIFTY are trading lower today as there is no fresh buying seen after the US markets closed lower yesterday. Gains in technology, FMCG and realty were offset by losses in banks, pharmaceuticals and capital goods sectors. BSE IT Index is up 1.23 percent, the BSE FMCG Index gained 0.75 percent and the Realty Index also up by 0.42 percent.
The SENSEX is currently down by 45.88 points at 20,247.33, whereas NSE's NIFTY is trading lower by 16.65 points at 6,169.90 points
