Good days for Indian stock markets continue as benchmark indices including Bombay Stock Exchange's SENSEX and NSE's NIFTY ended the day in positive note. The 30 component BSE's index SENSEX ended the day higher by 285 points at 19016.46, thus closing above the psychological mark of 19k . The broader index NSE's NIFTY ended the day at 5783.10 up by 94.40 pts. Today's rise brings the week's rise for SENSEX over 770 points, or 4.24 percent, whereas NSE's NIFTY ended the week up by 250 points or 4.6 percent.
Almost all the sectoral indices at BSE closed higher. following is sector-wise report card for BSE for today:
