Wheat, maize, soyabean, turmeric trading starts at MCX
Leading commodity bourse MCX today launched futures trading contracts in six agricultural commodities, which will expire between September and December.
The turmeric contract will mature in September, soyabean and maize (feed) in October, guar seed and chana dal in November and wheat contract will expire in December.
This can surely lead to artificial rise in prices of the commodities as wheat's purchasing season is already on. So would give rise to more price rise for these commodities for sure and is not a good move for sure.
